Waterside House is a beautifully situated, family run campsite along the northern shores of Ullswater in the Lake District.
Originally catering mainly to tents, the campsite is changing with the times and now also accommodates roof tents, campervans, motorhomes, and caravans.
Boasting 12 Premium Lakeside pitches (with electric hook up) that offer superb views over Ullswater. The campsite also has 54 hard-standing pea gravel pitches with electric hook up around the edges of the camping fields as well. For the traditional campers we have 3 fields of unmarked grass non-electric pitches.

You can then see the standard all-weather pitches with electric around the edges of the fields, labelled 1-54.
For the non-electric camping you have 3 fields of non-electric grass pitches, allowing you to choose your own camping location on a first come first served basis after checking in.
Whether you are an avid hiker, an extreme sports enthusiast or are looking for ways to occupy yourself on a rainy day, Waterside is the ideal starting location.
You can explore on foot, by bike, on a paddleboard or even on a boat with the Ullswater Steamer Pier around a mile away from the campsite.
